GRIEF AND BEREAVEMENT COUNSELLING

Grief and bereavement counselling is an option to support you on your journey of managing grief and bereavement and finding healing and renewal in your life.

Everyone deserves access to quality mental health support regardless of their physical location. My virtual counselling services ensure you can receive the help you need, no matter where you reside in Ontario.

 

Dealing with grief and bereavement is never easy, but for military veterans, first responders and their families, it can be particularly challenging. For example, the transition from military to civilian life is already a significant adjustment, and the loss of a loved one can compound these feelings of grief and overwhelm.

 

Whether you are grieving the loss of a fellow service member, a family member, or a friend, I am here to help.

 

We can work together to navigate the complexities of grief while providing the support you need to heal.

 

One key aspect of managing grief and bereavement is finding healthy ways to cope with your emotions. I can help you explore different coping strategies and techniques that work for you. This may include engaging in activities that bring you joy, connecting with others, or finding solace in nature and the outdoors.

➡️ Individual virtual/remote counselling sessions are available for adults (18+) who reside in Ontario, Canada.

​

💲 Sessions are priced at $150 (1hr). I am an approved provider for Medavie BlueCross, Blue Cross,  Veterans Affairs Canada, GreenShield and Sunlife which means clients with this coverage will be eligible for services if approved.

​

If these are not your providers, I would be happy to provide you with a receipt that includes all the relevant information you need to submit a claim to your insurance provider.

Please note that you may need to contact your insurer to determine if they cover services provided by a Registered Social Worker (RSW).
