Individual Counselling

Individual counselling, also known as individual therapy, is a therapeutic approach in which a trained mental health professional provides one-on-one support to help individuals address personal, emotional, or mental health concerns in a safe and confidential environment.

Individual counselling involves a client meeting with a counsellor to explore their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and beliefs, aiming for personal growth and change.

How It Works:

The counsellor and client establish a trusting relationship, allowing the client to feel safe and supported while exploring challenging issues and setting goals for the future.

Types of Therapy

There are various types of therapy, and I believe everyone's mental health needs are unique. A client-centered approach is essential for effective support. I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and positive psychology. CBT focuses on exploring the connection between one's thoughts, their emotions and their behaviours. Positive Psychology emphasizes well-being, gratitude, and mindfulness. Additionally,  I support you in exploring the innate strengths you already possess! :)
