Military Veteran Caregiver

Despite benefits and services, a lack of preparedness to enter civilian life exists. Adjusting to life after military service can be challenging and may lead to feelings of not belonging, which can worsen mental health.

People who join the Forces give up their civilian identities and adopt a new identity as members of the Forces. This transition is not a problem for most members, but some find it difficult to adjust back to civilian life after leaving the military.

Through Innate Renewal, I provide professional counselling services to support individuals who have transitioned from military to civilian life, whether due to anticipated retirement, voluntary release, or medical discharge (3B).
