Pre-Crisis Workshop
A Pre-Crisis Workshop is available for individuals interested in, or currently working in, high-stress environments such as public safety, mining, and healthcare. Workshops are not counselling or creating a therapeutic relationship. The workshop aims to give participants a structured foundation for coping with and managing stress in traditionally high-stress settings and to address the unique challenges these jobs may pose on an individual level—for instance, unpredictable hours and ongoing demands.

The workshop also encourages those in these high-stress environments to apply their own coping mechanisms as stressors arise. This can include not only checking in with ourselves but knowing HOW to check in with ourselves. This psychoeducational workshop discusses essential topics, including on-incident awareness and crisis response strategies. The objective of the workshop is to develop stress management skills to try and prevent significant problems should an incident occur.
